New Site for Young Adults Ministry Launched

Welcome to the new online home of the St. Luke’s Catholic Church Young Adults Ministry. Our name is the same, but our web address has changed. By choosing lukefive.org (L5), we wanted to reflect the fifth chapter of St. Luke’s Gospel.

In Luke 5, Christ turns fishermen into fishers of men, makes a leper clean, heals a man brought in through the roof by his friends, calls a tax collector, dines with sinners, and gives a parable about wine. We believe this chapter of St. Luke’s Gospel captures the meaning, struggle, and joy of being a Christian. Further, it shows us that everyone is invited to have a relationship with Our Lord.

In the coming weeks, we will be posting discussions from our weekly meetings, upcoming events, pictures, comments, and links to better serve our local young Catholic community. Please sign-up as a member, and begin posting your own stories, reflections, and comments to L5.

We look forward to hearing from you. In fact, we would love to see your at our meetings. You can find us meeting every Tuesday night at 8pm at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stockton, CA.
