August Sanguinetti

Please pray for the soul of St. Luke’s Parishioner August Sanguinetti, who went home to the Lord last night at the age of 96 or 97.  For those of you who do not know him, August was one of the first parishioners of St. Luke’s when it began over 50 years ago.  I have known him since I was an altar server.

August was very passionate about attending mass on Sundays, Holy Days and week days.  Before his time, he would always come to church on his walker.  (He lived about four blocks away but always had someone give him a ride if the weather was bad.)

He was the foundation of St. Luke’s Parish and he will be missed.
