About
Welcome
Welcome to the online home of St. Luke’s Young Adults Ministry. The name, lukefive.org (“L5″), is a reflection the fifth chapter of St. Luke’s Gospel.
In Luke 5, Christ turns fishermen into fishers of men, makes a leper clean, heals a man that was lowered in through the roof by his friends, calls a tax collector, dines with sinners, and gives a parable about wine. We believe this chapter of St. Luke’s Gospel captures the meaning, struggle, and joy of being a Christian. Further, it shows us that everyone is invited to have a relationship with our Lord.
At L5, we post discussions from our weekly meetings, upcoming events, pictures, comments, and links to better serve our local Central Valley Catholic community. Please sign-up as a L5 member to begin posting your own stories, reflections, and comments.
