Nine young adults braved the freezing temperatures on Saturday morning and came to help out at the food bank in Stockton…some after working all night, some before work or weddings later that day, and some after getting terribly lost trying to find the place!

Happy Gaudete (Rejoice) Sunday!

This Tuesday, Dec 16th, at our regular meeting we discussed what it means to rejoice and what the Bible says about it.

Also, during the meeting we sorted the hats, scarves, and gloves donated to St Luke’s Rosemarie Doyle Advent Project for the homeless. The members of the youth group then wrapped them on Sunday.

On Thanksgiving morning, the Young Adults Ministry came out to show its support for the 4th Annual Run & Walk Against Hunger. Sponsored by the Stockton Food Bank, this event generates money to help feed those in need.

Kenny McCann came out to capture the event on video. Krisz, a new member, actually ran the race. Next year, YAM hopes to sponsor an entire team of runners.

On 10/31, we had a little party to ring in All Saints’ Day.

A rapper, Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin, a football referee, and several “plain-clothes police officers” stopped by for the fun.
