Women and Young Women Retreat (Miles Christi)
Trying to find a way to grow in your faith this Lenten season? Well, seek no more. Miles Christi is having a retreat for women in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara. The retreat is during Holy Week, March 31-April 4, 2010. Please see below for further details.
Thank you for your interest in attending the Holy Week Spiritual Exercises. This silent retreat is preached by the Priests of Miles Christi (www.mileschristi.org). It begins on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 11:30AM, and ends on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010, at 11:30 AM at The Old Mission Santa Barbara Retreat Center located in Santa Barbara, California. This is a silent retreat for women, preached according to the method of St. Ignatius of Loyola and his book "Spiritual Exercises."
There will be spiritual talks, 30-45 minutes each, and after each talk there
will be time for personal meditation. Every day we have Holy Mass and Holy
Rosary. We also have adoration and benediction with the Most Blessed Sacrament.
The priests will be available for confession and/or personal spiritual conferences.
Meals are served at approximately 8:30am, 12:30pm and 6:00pm. The cost is $390 for a double room which includes room and board, meals, towels and bed linens.
Single rooms are available at a cost of $460.

The Young Adult Teams of Our Lady (YATOL) Western Region retreat is a weekend experience of Christian community at Camp Saint Francis in Aptos, overlooking the ocean and beach. YATOL is an international Catholic Young Adult movement started in 1976. The retreat has been designed to help you come to a better understanding of Christ, the Catholic faith, yourself and the Christian community.
WHO: All young adults (Post-high school to 30 years of age)
WHEN: Mar 5-7, 2010 (Friday 7:00 PM to Sunday 1:00 PM)
WHERE: Camp St. Francis, 2320 Sumner Ave., Aptos, CA 95003
COST: $80.00
All that will be needed for the weekend is a sleeping bag, pillow, warm casual clothing, towels, and toiletries, etc. PLEASE BRING ROSARY & BIBLE. The retreat begins at 7:00 pm on Friday, Mar. 5, 2010. Please carpool as much as possible. If you need a ride, please contact us to set up a carpool with someone else. The retreat will end at 1 pm on Sunday.
