Join St Luke’s YAM at the Pregnancy Resource Center of Lodi’s annual WALK FOR LIFE fundraiser on April 24th at 9am* at Lodi Lake. The Walk for Life distance is one lap around the Nature Trail at Lodi Lake.

The PRC of Lodi receives no federal funding and operates solely on donations. Last year, 21 children were born as a result of the services of the PRC of Lodi! Every cent earned from this fundraiser goes to providing free and confidential services.

*Our group will meet at 8:45 at the main entrance of Lodi Lake, near Turner and Loma, so we can walk together. Hope to see you there!

Sidenote: I want to apologize for the multiple calendar postings for the meeting on Tuesday 4/20. Apparently it’s a glitch that I can’t undo, since it doesn’t even show up on the adminstrator calendar (which is why I posted it multiple times, thinking it didn’t go through each time). Trying to find a way to grow in your faith this Lenten season? Well, seek no more. Miles Christi is having a retreat for women in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara. The retreat is during Holy Week, March 31-April 4, 2010. Please see below for further details.

Thank you for your interest in attending the Holy Week Spiritual Exercises.
This silent retreat is preached by the Priests of Miles Christi (www.mileschristi.org).
It begins on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 11:30AM, and ends on Easter
Sunday, April 4, 2010, at 11:30 AM at The Old Mission Santa Barbara
Retreat Center located in Santa Barbara, California. 

This is a silent retreat for women, preached according to the method of
St. Ignatius of Loyola and his book "Spiritual Exercises."

There will be spiritual talks, 30-45 minutes each, and after each talk there
will be time for personal meditation. Every day we have Holy Mass and Holy
Rosary. We also have adoration and benediction with the Most Blessed Sacrament.
The priests will be available for confession and/or personal spiritual conferences.

Meals are served at approximately 8:30am, 12:30pm and 6:00pm. The cost is $390 for a double room which includes room and board, meals, towels and bed linens.
Single rooms are available at a cost of $460.
