Parish Festival

I know we are preparing for our Catholics and Cocktails event next Friday, but I want to jump ahead and talk about the St. Luke’s Festival  on September 6-7, 2008.

Loretta Mease called me the other day and stated there is an opening for the Glass Pitch booth. (This is a booth where people attempt toss a dime into some type of glassware.  If successful, they win the item.)

I think this will be a great booth for us because it is for all ages and we can promote YAM to those of age.  If you are interested, please let me know by e-mail or call me.  (My phone is always on 24/7 even though I may not be around this weekend to check e-mails.)

If we choose this booth, or any other available one, I will need assistance in regards to chairing for both days.  As I mentioned in a previous e-mail, I have to also check the Knights booths, so my plate will be filled.  Also, on Sunday, I may not be there until sometime in the afternoon, so help would be needed in the morning.  You do not have to stay there the entire time, but would need to be there at shift change.
