Join our YAM group at Grupe Park on Saturday, June 26 for a summer evening picnic! We’ll supply the BBQ meat, and you bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share (Please see sign up list below). We’ll have ice breakers and games to help you get acquainted with the other young adults in our parish.

When: Saturday, June 26th
Where: Grupe Park (Located west of I-5 on W. Swain Rd. and Cumberland Pl.)
Time: 4:00pm-7:00pm

Chicken is on the menu, but side dishes and desserts are up to you! Natalie has planned to buy some chicken and leave it up to two people to marinade the chicken overnight and bring it to the party as their contribution. The Padre Miguel Pro Chapter of the Knights of Columbus at St. Patrick’s Church in Ripon is presenting a men’s conference on June 12, titled “Be the Man God Calls You to Be,” from 8am to 4pm. St. Anne’s Church in Lodi is having a Ministry Fair weekend. There will be a booth set up during and after 5:30pm mass on Saturday May 15 and during and after 8:30am and 10:30am masses Sunday May 16. Father Brandon is looking for some YAMs to help volunteer at the booth. We would just need to talk to young adults about our ministry and give them a short survey. There will be some set up and tear down, time TBA. If you are able to help either Saturday or Sunday please e-mail yam@lukefive.org. Further details will follow shortly.

Location: St. Luke’s
Description: St. Luke’s Young Adult Ministry (YAM) is holding a donation drive to assist those in need at the Women’s Center of San Joaquin County.
Items will be collected at the following masses:
5:30pm, Saturday, May 8th
8:45am & 10:30am, Sunday, May 9th.
Items requested:
- women’s and children’s New or Gently Used clothes/shoes
- New underwear
- toiletries
- cleaning supplies
- children’s toys/games/arts&crafts
- inspirational books for adults & teens.
Monetary donations and gift cards are also appreciated.
